After a devastating Spinal Cord Injury, I have learned that life can be rich, but it is very different for everyone involved. Family and friends are invaluable. Writing is therapeutic. Advocating is rewarding. There is much research and support out there. This is a glimpse into my journey; it is an on-going one of recovery. This road has become intentional. Please note that there are three pages. One is my typical blog, my personal thoughts on this road to recovery. Pages two and three provide links to “SCI Research” I find promising and “SCI Of Interest” that I believe others would appreciate reading.

Dear, dear Colleen, I’m so eager to follow your blog but for now can’t seem

Dear Collene,
As usual, your writing’s an inspiration to me, and from the replies, I can see that it’s inspiring to many others, as well. What a triumph for you to experience – because at the very time you need help, you are helping others live though their own trials and stay centered on spiritual guideposts.
I think ‘determination’ describes so much of your daily life – no – all of your daily life.
But, throughout your ‘giving’ life, you have shown that same determination towards your family and your work experiences. Determination comes in many forms.
Keep posting. I need your wisdom, and I expect many others do, too…
